O Núcleo Biotecnológico em Terapias Alternativas Aplicadas à Saúde Humana e Animal (TASHA) surge com o objetivo de trazer aos diversos departamentos envolvidos e às próprias Universidades um diferencial no que tange à difusão de conhecimento de qualidade, aliado à tecnologia de ponta, praticidade e desenvolvimento técnico-científico de alto padrão, sendo um projeto de caráter internacional que conta com pesquisadores de vários países do mundo e de muitas partes do Brasil.

Trabalhando em forma de rede, com a ideia de formação de recursos humanos, este Instituto visa trazer melhorias não só ao local onde está sediado, em Viçosa (Minas Gerais, Brasil), mas também aos diversos laboratórios que contribuem para que a ideia de montar uma estrutura factível e promissora possa ser possível.

A meta é proporcionar aos diversos participantes e envolvidos com o Instituto ensino e pesquisa de qualidade, atrelado ao desenvolvimento de novos produtos terapêuticos e técnicas que proporcionem resultados inovadores que tragam eficiência não só na saúde humana mas na animal.

A visão é totalmente holística, inovadora e inclusiva, mostrando que é possível fazer ciência em quantidade e qualidade suficientes que gerem publicações de relevância e inovem tanto o campo como o laboratório, no caso da medicina veterinária, como no que se refere à melhorias para a saúde humana, trazendo assim o conceito de saúde unificada ao Instituto.

The Biotechnological Institute for Alternative Therapies Applied to Human and Animal Health (TASHA) was set up with the aim of providing the various departments involved and the universities themselves with a differential in terms of disseminating quality knowledge, combined with cutting-edge technology, practicality and high-standard technical-scientific development. It is an international project that includes researchers from various countries around the world and many parts of Brazil.

Working as a network, with the idea of training human resources, this Institute aims to bring improvements not only to the department where it is based, in Viçosa (Minas Gerais, Brazil), but also to the various laboratories that contribute to making the idea of setting up a feasible and promising structure possible.

The goal is to provide the various participants and those involved with the Institute with quality teaching and research, linked to the development of new therapeutic products and techniques that provide innovative results that bring efficiency not only in human health but also in animal health.

The vision is totally holistic, innovative and inclusive, showing that it is possible to do science in sufficient quantity and quality to generate relevant publications and innovate both in the field and the laboratory, in the case of veterinary medicine, and in terms of improving human health, thus bringing the concept of unified health to the Institute.
